Ana Zangroniz began dancing salsa during her time at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2001.
Ana recently re-located to her home in the Washington, D.C. Metro area after five years in Central New York. During her time in the Albany area, she expanded her On1 salsa learning by taking Casino Rueda classes. Ana continued adding to her repertoire by traveling to New York City and taking classes On2 with Dance On2 studios and Piel Canela Dance Company. She was an instructor for AlbanySalsa.com Dance studio, specializing in Casino Rueda.
In addition to her in-studio lessons and group classes at various nightclub venues, Ana also taught the SUNY Albany Salsa Club and volunteered her time to teach at several local middle schools.
Now settled in her hometown, Ana is teaching for LatinDanceVibe.com and is currently teaching at Progressive & Drop In classes at Rendezvous (Rockville, MD). She is also a part of the Washington, D.C.-based ClaveKazi dance studio training team which performs locally and internationally at various shows and Salsa Congresses.
When not dancing, Ana is a professional photojournalist and avid scuba diver.

Helena Hassan is originally from Panama and grew up in Southern California.

When she graduated high school, she joined the military and left her family and friends to start her new life for Uncle Sam. Helena was stationed in Southern Spain in 2000 for three years and from there she took her first salsa dance lesson, it didn't take long for her to be hooked. Her dance background consists of Casino Rueda, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia, traditional Spanish Sevillanas, Hip Hop, Jazz, Cuban Afro, Salsa Mambo, and Modern Dance which has made her the colorful dancer that she is today. She has taught with dance partners Kenny D' Angelo, Hector "Toti" Chavez and Joshua Hilliard. In September 2007 she was recalled through the Naval reserves and was deployed to Germany for two years.
